Ricks World Sedona Weather

This year is the most rain recorded in a single year since we started keeping records on our weather station.  This is rain and snow that fell in Soldiers Pass Sedona measured by the Cottages At Coffeepot weather station. We were well on our way with the record setting month of monsoon rain recorded in August (see blue box above).  The only other year to have 5 inches of precipitation was January of 2010 which is the year that has held the record until now.

The last rain that put us over the top was recorded on December 21 and 22.  It has been a light and steady rain which is good for all the plants and trees.
