Sedona Landscape Photography
Snapping pictures of Sedona landscape photography is one of the most popular activities of tourists, locals, and other visitors. The unique features of the red rock formations play well in various lighting throughout the day. During the monsoon (summer) the rain darkens the red rocks and contrasts the green of the pine forest. In winter, a dusting of snow creates a dramatic effect on outstanding Sedona landscape photography.
Spring and Fall offer a unique perspective as well. As with all other regions of the country, Spring is a time of renewal, and some of our dessert fauna provide color not seen the rest of the year. The fragrant smell of the flowers and trees in bloom fills the air.
Our altitude allows a definitive change of seasons, especially in Autumn. Sedona landscape photography is captivating during Fall, and though we do not see the magnificent color that other parts of the country get, the color is on display in late November, especially down by Oak Creek.
