It culminates on Oscar Sunday with an Awards Celebration brunch - TBA, Once again, Sedona International Film Festival will put out an outstanding show.  Films are screened and reviewed starting in Fall of the previous year for the film festival.  Each film is viewed by members of a special committee to determine if it would be a welcomed addition to the film festival. The Sedona Film Festival with most events being held in West Sedona, brings many visitors to the area to enjoy independent film and festivities as arguably, our most popular season, Spring, is on it's way.  Many trees are starting to bloom and visitors will see what a pleasant Winter season this area boasts. As a member of the Sedona Film Festival, I have enjoyed the events and films that are presented at the different venues. The Mary Fisher Theatre in West Sedona is a community theatre, the first of it's kind, small venue state-of-the-art theatre located in Sedona; adding another dimension to the arts for those living in Sedona, West Sedona and surrounding communities. Also, visitors from around the world can enjoy some great entertainment in a comfortable, modern and cozy venue.   Another recent addition to the network of venues, is the Sedona Performing Arts Center (SPAC). Next year there will be an additional hotel located right across the street from SPAC.  The Marriot Courtyard is now open and is very convenient to all the venues.

Michael Feinstein is Preforming

Every address in Sedona is sent an official program just like the one pictured.  In 2017, Five-time Grammy nominee Michael Feinstein will be preforming on Friday, February 24th at 6 pm.  The concert will be at the Sedona Performing Arts Center, a beautiful venue located at the Sedona Red Rock High School. Getting Around Sedona & Logistics

Festival Map- Parking and Ticket Information

Venues Include: Sedona Performing Arts Center - Harkins Theatre - Mary Fischer Theatre

Driving around the area over the weekend, traffic was not bad at all. This is probably the best year so far for traffic control. Why? A Much better parking plan.  There is a shuttle service that will take you from the parking area to the venues for the different events. The link above shows you where the venues are located and there are signs for parking up and down the 89A.  As a person who has participated as a volunteer on a number of occasions, the people who help in all areas are dedicated and motivated to provide you the best service so that you have a wonderful festival experience.  Many of my close friends volunteer.

If you enjoy the Arts, Indie Films and social events, besides the Spring like weather, you will certainly enjoy your experience at the Sedona International Film Festival located right in the heart of West Sedona.
