Fall Color Sedona Cottage Style!
One of my favorite times of year is Fall in Sedona. Many visitors come from all over to see the Fall color in Oak Creek Canyon and contrast that with the majesty of the red rocks. Autumn, along with Spring are our busiest seasons of the year. Actually, our Spring season starts in mid-January and continues to the 4th of July! I have a beautiful Japanese Maple in my courtyard that has every color of the rainbow in it right now. Probably because it may get down to freezing on some days but the inside of the tree remains just a little warmer and it also does not get as much sunlight. Other plants and trees can turn bright yellow but this tree stands out with its deep orange and red color.

This last pic is one of my favorites. It is one of a kind... It was taken 3 years ago and you won't be able to get this kind of pic again. It was a motel for sale in Oak Creek Canyon. So there was no real incentive to keep the beautiful yellow leaves off the pavement. It finally sold and is a bustling area and well maintained.
There is nothing more beautiful than fall color in Sedona when it is at the peak.
