The following article from the Los Angeles Times was published on-line, April 23rd but it does shed light on how visitors from other areas may come to resorts (which includes Sedona) and rent homes to get away from locations in their own states. The numbers that are reflected in this article were from mid-April and are out-of-date. You can *Find Current US Stats here. For any other individual state, go to that particular state health website. You can find links to Sedona and Arizona COVID-19 information here.
Phoenix Magazine just put out an article about “7 Solitary HIkes and Cozy Cabins”. This article probably was published after Sedona locked down the parking areas for the popular trailheads. But, some visitors may think that these areas are open. Sedona is still discouraging visitors. Even though trails may be accessed from other areas, many visitors will have to park well over a mile away from the trailhead or risk being towed and or ticketed.
