June 2019
June Normally Warmest Month of the Year...
Sedona weather for June 2019 had below average temps and little rain (.06). Little or no rain is normal for June and may show that we are moving towards the change of weather patterns coming from the south. So the El Niño conditions may be stalled due to the summer weather pattern. We have had a total of 23 days of 90º which include 1 day at 103º. Last year at this time we had 31 days over 90º and 12 days over 100º. Our overall temperature for highs, average or lows was 3º less than last June. Overall, June is normally the warmest month of the year primarily because there are fewer clouds and precipitation. In July and August, monsoon kicks in with more clouds and thunderstorms to help keep the temperature down.

Another month of perfect weather. The air conditioner is being used at a minimum so far this year. It cycles for about 8 to 9 hours a day. By dusk, the AC is turned off and the windows and doors are opened up.
