As you come into Sedona off SR 179 you will see the Chapel sitting in the rocks on the northeast side of the 179. it is probably the most visited attraction in Sedona. The Chapel is a Roman Catholic Chapel though people all over the world visit this magnificent artistic building. The late Senator Barry Goldwater helped local rancher and sculptor Marguerite Staude

Off in the north, on Chapel road there is the Chapel Trail which goes between the Chapel and Little Horse Trail. One thing about this area is all the red rock named formations that you can see in a 360º field. (See video below) There is Madonna & Child, Twin Sisters, Courthouse Butte, Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Airport Mesa, Elephant Rock and of course...the Chapel of the Holy Cross!
Just Minutes to Shopping - Restaurants - Half Way Point Between West Sedona and Village of Oak Creek
Residents enjoy living in this area because there is beauty all around you. But shopping areas and restaurants are also close by, most notably is Hillside with galleries and popular restaurants.
Some of the restaurants include: The Hudson - an American eatery, welcomes you daily for lunch and dinner with chef-driven food, great cocktails and wine, and a fun, inviting, family-like atmosphere. Be prepared to make reservations! Children who live in the Sedona/Village of Oak Creek area attend school through the Sedona-Oak Creek Unified School District. Charter Schools include: Sedona Charter School (K-8)- American Montessori Society located at 165 Kachina Dr. West Sedona AZ Verde Valley Montessori School (Pre-school,K-8) located at 215 Main St. Cottonwood AZ.~ ~ ~
The Chapel Hills area also sits in between West Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek making it convenient to travel either direction. Each home is a custom built home and many take advantage of the views of the named red rocks in the area. There are over 400 home sites in the Chapel area not many lots are undeveloped but there are some.

There are only seven months in the books for 2018 but you can see that only 11 homes have closed up to August in the Chapel Hills area. The list and sold price of these homes have increased by 8-9% respectively. However that Sold price may drop with the homes that are pending. (See below) The average days on market has also dropped significantly.
