Sedona Weather May 2019 in Soldiers Pass West Sedona Includes Snow!

Last year we already experienced 15 days above 90º.  This year we have had only 1 day in April at 90º. Pretty amazing! On Memorial Day, the temperature was 61º. It was actually too cool to sit outside and enjoy the hamburgers we BBQed. However, we realized that this weather could change on any given day so we have been relishing this cooler than normal weather and feel blessed to have it.

Sedona February 2019 Weather – El Niño is responsible for our extreme cold weather this winter and especially February. Sedona had 5 low temperature readings below 20º with 11.2º the lowest temp so far this year. I am pretty sure this will hold as the lowest temperature. Last year only 1 day at 18.6º was recorded. The high temp for the month was 65.7º, where as last year it was 73.5º.

January came in with very cold temps and a half inch of snow as well! Last January (2018), there was one day that was in the 70ºs and 25 days in the 60ºs.  That January was the warmest in Sedona in 9 years. The temps were spring like temps which actually got our spring off to an early start. But this January the weather was a little colder….

Sedona Weather Final December 2018 – 312 Days of Sunshine!

Sedona had 312 days of sunshine in 2018!  December was the only month all year that the high temp did not get into the 70ºs. The high was 67º. There were 24 days that dipped below freezing in the early morning. There was 1 day that was below 32º as a high temp. That day happened to be New Year’s Eve (31.8º).  On New Year’s Eve day, Sedona got over 5 inches of snow! The snow is already evaporating on New Year’s Day.
